“ Don’t live near Long Beach, but I had to try this local burger bar after I heard many different recommendations about this place! The burger was no joke! The caramelized onions and candied jalapenos brought all the delicious flavors all together in my opinion! I also enjoyed both the comeback and all American sauce! I already can’t wait to come back; it was worth the drive if you ask me! Everyone should check this place out for themselves. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ”
“ Our family (all 6) decided on having burgers for dinner. Unfortunately, our first selection turned out to be a dive bar that did not allow anyone under the age of 21 to enter. Sometimes Google reviews can be a bit misleading by not having critical information. No problem. We just redirected our search for a great burger elsewhere. We fortunately landed on Camphouse Burgers in Long Beach. Having never driven through Long Beach, we were impressed by the downtown area, reminiscent of old towns from years gone by. Waze directed us perfectly to the restaurant. Upon entering, we were greeted by a nice lady behind the bar who ended up being our server and cashier. Camphouse is a small, neatly maintained building that reminded me of an old corner cafe. It brought back many memories. Most adults decided on the All American burger while I and the kids chose the "build your own" burger. I customized my double burger by adding cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and All American sauce. A side of fries rounded out my order. It's hard to find burgers like Camphouse makes. Their burgers are like those you used to find in diners or corner drug stores back in the 60's and 70's. Camphouse Burgers are not what you'd get at a fast-food joint. There's more flavor in those flat top burgers than mass produced offerings. The fries were awesome too. Service was top-notch, the atmosphere quaint and the entire setting was nostalgic. I highly recommend Camphouse in Long Beach. We had a wonderful experience there. ”
“ Simply THE best! We stopped in after seeing the sign outside and had the daily chef special burger, it was amazing. ( things like Gouda , bacon jam, bacon) The combination of ingredients was tremendous, the meat was done to perfection. My only regret is that I did not take a picture to share. MY highest recommendation, you will you will have found your new burger fries and beer stop. In addition to the great food, the staff was warm and friendly, the atmosphere laid back and peaceful. She was the most awesome waitress...she never let my drink get empty...she told us lots of info on the QR code. Y'all go get you a burger at the Camp House Burger Bar in in Long Beach...say hey to Swanson and to the other crew. They are all awesome as all get out ”
“ 5-Star all the way! I showed up in flip-flops with my dog looking for a good burger and a beer - did I ever get them! The service was great - fast, friendly and helpful. They recommended a fantastic IPA and they even gave my dog some water. The burger was perfect - one of the better ones I've had on the Gulf Coast. Perfectly seasoned, fresh bun, fresh ingredients all around. The patio was really pleasant, with little umbrellaed tables and lovely trees. I'll be back soon and I hope you pay a visit, too! ”
“ These are by far the very best burgers on the coast. My only negative is they strictly enforce a policy of no sharing a drink. I just wanted a sip of water from my wife’s water bottle and the drink police swooped down and chastised me. You can’t bring in even a bottle of water from the outside. Ridiculous ”
